Hello, I recently downloaded The Sims Life Stories and it runs great but will randomly pop up a message and close out. I am on Windows 10 and I'm starting to think that may be the problem. Here's an image of what it shows every time before it exits out:

The Sims Life Stories has stopped working Sims_l10

Am I just unable to play due to being on Windows 10 or are there ways around it?

Hello and welcome to the forum @KittahKat,


Try adding the .exe file of the game to the DEP exclusions.


The Sims Life Stories has stopped working 6xjqoX9



Go to Control Panel/System/Advanced (tab)/Performance/Settings/Data Execution Prevention

Then you need to tick the option that is marked with an arrow, in the screenshot above. Click on "Apply" in the lower right, then on "OK". Not sure, but you may have to re-start the computer after that.

After the re-boot, try the game again. Good luck !
