So I am foolish enough to forget my password...[SOLVED]
So... I was foolish enough to set a random password just to join the server, and I now forgot the password to join.
Could someone help me, please?

Hello @Urbanliner,
Try getting in touch with @Admin or @SeoY (via private messaging). They can reset your password and then allow you to choose a new one. For the future though, you should make sure to either note down the password or memorize it. You're going to need it, if you plan on playing on the server.

Looks like I got scared by @Admin writing that he wouldn't support people in PMs, but I now got the courage and stuff to do so because a Moderator is suggesting me to do it

The note in Admin's signature only means that you are not supposed to send help requests for games, software, etc. Because for that, we have the forum.
On the other hand, if there is some general inquiry about the forum or administrative issues (like password/account problems) then of course you can contact Admin.
As said, both SeoY and Admin can help you here.

Hi there, @Urbanliner!
No problem, that should be just a moment. Send me a PM with your MC username and I'll reset it.

Why can't we thank multiple people in one thread? Because I want to.SeoY wrote:Hi there, @Urbanliner!

However, I've already sent a PM to Admin and I have to go to school soon, so guess I'll "wait" in the school, and hope he does it before I come home.
Again, thanks!

It may be best to tell @SeoY your username as well (in PM), there's no guarantee that @Admin has time to visit the forum today. They will let the other know if and when your password is reset. Alternatively, you may also PM me and I can let either one of the guys know through a more direct channel.

Alright, thanks for clarifying. I've already PM'd @SeoY too after school, but I might need your help if the reset doesn't happen soon (probably because people pestering them).Edin ElDi wrote:Urbanliner wrote:Why can't we thank multiple people in one thread? Ah, I was just sleeping. Not anything like that.
I already sent you a PM. The password is reset now. You can login using that temporary one and then change it. Let us know if you have any other problems or any questions at all. Have fun!

Hi there,
Indeed, you can always PM me with Minecraft-related problems.
I see your password has already been reset by SeoY.
You can now change your password (after logging in) using these commands: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t22672-new-minecraft-authentication-system
Have fun on the server, and please let us know if you need help again.

Re: So I am foolish enough to forget my password...[SOLVED]
Alright, thanks, everyone! I'd like to see a feature that allows us to thank everyone in this thread, though.
I understand people have different time zones and stuff, so I don't want to blame both Admin and SeoY for not being quick.
Back to the main topic, I think this thread should be closed, seeing as I recovered access to my Minecraft account.
Mod edit: problem solved, topic closed.

Side-note: if you ever feel like you should blame anyone, always blame Admin. There's an unwritten rule that says Admin is to be blamed for everything that does not go as expected.

This is off-topic but I'll give a brief reply nonetheless. @Urbanliner, if it makes you feel better, you can also upvote the posts of @Admin and @SeoY (click on the small thumbs up-button on the right of each post). For the same reason, it may be a better idea to use the "thanks-button" only at the very end of a discussion, once your problem has been solved.
As for new features, see the forum's FAQ here, and the text includes a link to the support forum of Forumotion too, if you really like to suggest something.

This software was written by and licensed through phpBB Group. If you believe a feature needs to be added then please visit the phpbb.com website and see what the phpBB Group has to say. Please do not post feature requests to the board at phpbb.com, as the Group uses sourceforge to handle tasking of new features. Please read through the forums and see what, if any, our position may already be for features and then follow the procedure given there. If you think a function must be added, please visit the support forum and see what other users and administrators think about it.
