Pets: crashes as soon as i hit "play"

installed fine, even updated, did the DEP thing, have no cc or mods.... so every time i start the game it loads fine, i can create a family, move in, redecorate, but as soon as i hit "play" the game crashes. my whole game is from this site. i'm at a loss, idk what to do next. help? anyone? Pls?!

Are you sure you added ALL OF THE .exe files from all the game folders to the DEP?

Yes, I added ALL of the .exe's to the DEP. Resolution is set to low. Applied latest fix. Still crashes as soon as I hit 'play'

update: had store content, but took those out, and didn't change anything. still crashes

What about Custom Content? Check your launcher and be sure that EVERYTHING is removed.
