Sims 3 crashes Empty Sims 3 crashes

After a couple of hours of playing (2 hours)  the sims 3 complete crashes ... its happened a few times now and I never get to save so i keep having to start over.  Ive installed the "ultimate fix" but its still happening. Help Why.
