Freeze during plumb bob loading screen

I just downloaded and installed both the base sims 4 game and the latest ultimate fix. The base game works fine on its own although it does give me a warning saying my GPU is not recognized by their database and it sets my video settings to highest possible, i don't know if that's relevant, i just thought i'd mention it.
But the real problem happened after i applied the ultimate fix. Now whenever i start the game, it freezes on the plumb bob loading screen. I followed the install instructions and i don't have any CC or mods. I saw an old post and it was suggested that i download and run a tool called 4GB Patch but when i used it on my game executable ( C:\Program Files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4.exe ), i got a warning saying "Couldn't open executable".
That's all i've tried so far but nothing worked. I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

Hello, and welcome to the forum, 
to play The Sims 4 you need to install it in this order: Base Game -> Get to Work -> Get Together -> Ultimate Fix. 

Just download Get to Work, Get Together and if you have latest Ultimate Fix saved you don't have to redownload it. When it's downloaded apply Get to Work, then Get Together and finally latest Ultimate Fix.

I didn't know i had to install get to work and get together first. Sorry about that. But i'll download those and install them and it should work, i think. Thank you.
