Sims 3 Mac Complete Collection. (Unknown Error Occured)

Hello,

So, basically since Wednesday I have been trying to get this to work for me. However, the thing is I can never get past one or two expansion packs. I have followed the mac guide throughly, tried to use the ultimate fix, but nothing has worked. I get the Unknown error occured message each time.

Although, I was installing them in the order I wanted and i got HELS and ambitions to work. This said, I don't know what made ambitions work because the first time I tried it still didn't work. However, when I got to fast lane stuff, I got the unknown error occured. I decided to try the other expansions and apply the ultimate fix, but that also didn't work. 

Before writing this post, I just uninstalled everything. Another thing I should note is that my base game is from origin, but I thought that wouldn't matter.

Any help is greatly appreciated, but I'm starting to wonder if bootcamp would make this all so much easier?
