Sims 4 "Script Call Failed" [SOLVED]

Yes, another day another problem with the Sims 4.

This time it's something slightly different. Recently I downloaded a lot (and I mean a LOT) of CC, but the problem is a whole load of them (especially Decorations) don't work too well. To be specific, I get the "Script Call Failed" error.

Now I did some research online, and found that the error is caused by a patch in an updated version of The Sims 4, but this confuses me as I've never even updated my Sims 4 (since I previously mentioned I couldn't). I'm simply playing the base game provided by G4TW, running version 1.0.797.20. So why on Earth would I be getting this error?

This leads to my question; is there any way to fix this error (OR) if the base game is actually slightly updated, can I downgrade it?

[EDIT] Just a note; I realised the issue seems to mostly be with Clutter, which is very weird. Most furniture work totally fine.

Simple solution, just needed to update the game.
