Game not working & Launcher crashes

I uninstalled and reinstalled the base game because I read that was the only way to remove the latest patch but now the game wont start. If I try to start the launcher it just crashes before it even starts and if I try to go straight to the application it tells me it's not compatible with the base game I have installed. I have WA, LN, Ambitions, TL and generations.

Reinstalling the base game won't remove your latest patch, actually.
Please try as following:

1. Uninstall ALL The Sims 3 games.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall following EXACTLY these instructions: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Okie I uninstalled, restarted then reinstalled. I'm trying to patch my game but it comes up with this message:



It won't let me play the game, I followed all instructions

When installing WA, be sure to change the SKU correctly.

Oooh I see thank you, I haven't reinstalled WA yet, do I have to wait until I have downloaded and reinstalled that?

Yes, when installing WA, it'll tell you (in the included "# Installation Guide.txt") how to change the SKU code to 2. If you do so, you shouldn't get the error any more.

Changed the code and I started to update but then I got "invalid file found"
