This is the error I'm getting when trying to activate Microsoft Office 2013.

I took a look at this and this forum post, but those fixes didn't help me at all, so I'm at loss for what to do.
Any suggestions, would be highly appreciated.

Edit: My OS is Windows 10, if that helps.

Edit 2: Just now, I tried this, but I had already prior to that disabled avast, so that didn't work in my favor.
I also checked this topic, but that only lead me to one of the first I tried.

Edit 3: I ended up installing Office 2010, because I was in dire need, everything worked like a charm with it!!

Hello and sorry for the late-ish reply @InkOwl,

Sorry to hear about these issues. The thing with Windows 10 is, if you disable your third-party anti-virus software, then by default Windows Defender will turn itself on again. It seems you cannot have "both" Windows Defender and third-party software on/off at the same time.

If you want to give it another try in the future, try leaving avast-modules ON, and only try turning off the module about anti-virusses.

My opinion is, unless you need the program for e.g. work or school, Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise should do as well. That one is just an "install-enter serial number- and go" program.

I'll leave the topic open for the time being, so you can post back again about any future follow-ups. Very Happy
