Sims 3 accelleration of videohardware required

I have OSX El capitan on my windows computer.
Installed The Sims 3 succesfully but cannot play the game.
Every time it comes up with a message like: (roughly translated from Dutch)
The accelleration of the video hardware is switched off because of the securitymode or a fault in the driver.
Check for a good functionning of Open GL hardware renderer and try again.
I have an Nvidia 315 graphic card and can play the game on my windows partition without any problems.
Unable to find a driver for this card suitable for OSX
