I downloaded the sims 4 and clicked on it but nothing pops up!?

I downloaded the Sims 4 and Get to work same with Get together I clicked on the Sims 4 icon on my desktop And nothing pops up! I even went to properties then compatibility then clicked the check on Run this program in compatibility mode then you had to choose your computer system type I have a 64-bit then clicked Apply then OK. Clicked on Sims 4 again, Nothing still didn't pop up. 
I don't understand this I downloaded this game on my laptop plenty of times before and it worked , Now i don't know what the problem is! I followed every instructions carefully on the installation guide. Someone Pleasee Help!!!!

It's possible that your anti-virus tampered with some of the game files. You should add the location where you installed The Sims 4, to the "exclusions" in your anti-virus and Windows Defender. Then check this out:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t23706-latest-available-no-origin-files-for-the-sims-4-version-1-25-136-1020

And apply those No-Origin files on your system. Good luck for now!
