Problem with the crack.

Okay, I was literally going to post the same title; AM I STUPID OR SOMETHING?
I really didn't want to have to post because I saw all the threads on how to fix the problem but everything I have done to fix it ( and its a lot) is NOT WORKING!!
I downloaded the ultimate fix from the thread on how to install the sims 3 correctly but nothing!
When I go to hit the play button I get a pop up asking me to re-enter and verify the registration and when i do it tells me that I have the wrong code.
What am I doing wrong? Please help

Hello,
Welcome to the forum.
First, make sure you have at least one expansionpack (generations or later).
Check the launcher to make sure you are, in fact, at gameversion 1.67.xx
Only copy the contents of the #crack folder to your base game\bin and let the files replace the ones in the destination folder.
If you're quite sure this is what you have done, please post a screenshot of your base game\bin that has the "details" on the files in the folder (that is, "date modified").
