The Sims 3 not rendering Fur/Fluff information.

To Admin/ Mods, didn't know where to put this, so if it is
in the wrong place, sorrryyyyyyyy

From what i can see, no one on the forum has this issue which is great! ,
however it is becoming a common problem and some people dont even know they
have it!.

The Fur/Fluff issue is that the graphics card isn't rendering the fur on the
sims pets, leaving a block of colour instead of the hairs.

Example, with Fur/Fluff being rendered

If you DONT have the issue, YAY!
If you DO have the issue, well, there isn't a fix, YET.

However they are 2 things you can try;
1.Play around with the graphic settings on the game: is advance rendering on?

2.Update your graphic drivers: this can be easily done by going to the
company's website and downloading them from there, most offer a driver detector
to find the latest update for your card aswell.

Didn't work? bummer.

EA know of the problem, kindof, it depends who you ask, most have just told
people to buy a better graphics card, better than a GTX 580 even.

The only other option is to buy a new graphics card which doesn't have the
issue, which REALLY isn't necessary.
As it it believed that this is EA faults, NOT YOURS.

Why? i have a Geforce 520 GT, costs £30, and it's a piece of crap. It renders
fur however.

The GTX 560i, costs about £150-£250, it can play Elder scrolls, Battlefield 3
and Batman Arkham City fine, yet it is common complaint that is wont render
fur.

See what im getting at?

Just to say, if you have the issue, dont panic, dont go out buying a new card
or anything either, alot of high-end gaming cards are also having the issue, a
better card isn't always the answer. The Sims Pets shouldn't need a high-end
card anyway, it's a causal game. Just sit tight and wait for a patch.

Update !

Update 1.29 has fixed some cards that had the No Fur/Fluff issue!
Check out the forum link of the list of cards above to see if the update fixes your card.

HOWEVER...

The update itself has caused other problems now and I STRONGLY recommend to NOT update to 1.29 YET.

Also, again, its EA's fault, again, as always, and admin fixes it, EVERYONE, SINGLE, TIME.

hint hint admin i dont think its the crack thats broken...
