Custom objects problem

Hi! i downloaded up to sims 3 pets expansion and is working perfectly, expect for one little problem, i downloaded and installed lots of objects (including the store updates) and i can't see them ingame. Any ideas?

Hello,
Can you tell us how you installed these? A common mistake is putting downloads in the wrong folder. For .package files, you should set up a framework in the Sims 3 folder in your my documents. Sims3pack files go in the downloadsfolder. If you put them in the correct folder, it may be a problem with your downloads folder, it could be bugged. That can be fixed following these steps.

Some of this are .package and some are sims3pack, what do u mean by set up a framework? how do i do it?
And i tried doing what the post u linked told me and it didnt work :S
