Sims 3 Adventure Board

This had never happended to me before, but I sent my sims to Champ Les Sims and the adventure board dosen't work. I keep clicking it and it my sim reads it but no adventure is shown. When the other sim reads it, adventures are shown but those are the little ones, like finding a date, taking a photo or interviewing someone. I really want adventures regarding tombs, but they just won't show up! Anybody, help?

I'd try doing a few of the smaller quests, then see if the real adventures show up.
