the game will not not start

hello I have downloaded from your site the game and the packs for it. after downloading and extracting them from the .rar files and installing several times. the game still will not start up like your you tube videos say. I have deleated all of my other sims games and nothing running in the background and tried several times to install and run the game. but it will not initialize to start. it is running off of your files that I had gotten from you. so if there is a problem then it came from your download files. please help me get this going ASAP or I will have no choice but to deleate it and find money and buy it from the store.

In short: The downloads from G4TW work perfectly.
You either did not install properly or you do not have the patience to wait (sometimes up to 4 minutes) the first time you start the game as an ADMINISTRATOR. (rightclick on the shortcut on your desktop)

first off I know how to work a computer.

secondly this is the error message that pops up from the file that I downloaded from this site.....

if the file works then this shouldn't pop up.

Maybe the download torrent was not downloaded completely. Did you use win Rar to unpack? I have also downloadd these files from THIS site and everything works perfectly! So I assume the files are NOT faulty. Must be something else.

As hundreds of people (incl. myself) have downloaded and installed the G4TW files, I must presume that you made a mistake somewhere or maybe your downloads were not fully completed, or you didn't extract with Winrar.
When you extract the files and you get an error message, then your download was not 100% completed.
Another possibility: you installed in an incorrect order or you skipped a DLC.
Correct order: Base, Get to Work, Get Together, City Living. That's all, do not apply any (ultimate) fixes !!!
Make sure that your install folder is not in Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts, Origin or Origin Games.
