Unable to Start: Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged. Please repair or reinstall the game via origin. [85262c58:29f00e76:00000000:00000000]

My game worked correctly until I installed the newest DLC's: from Get Famous to Realm of Magic. I followed all instructions exactly, then when I tried to open the game I got this error message. Can anyone help?

Hey, I've got the same error! I want to use the validator but I can't find any available validator. The tumblr page doesn't exist anymore I think. What can I do?

I've repaired the base game and installed discover university after that which fixed my issues!

Hello, if i may ask, how do you repair your base game ? Did you use origin to repair them ?    I remember getting that error once.

You can re-install the base game from Games4theworld, or any other repacker. So re-install the base game (into a different folder path than your main Sims 4 installation!). And then you copy-paste all of the folders of the base game, back to your main Sims 4 game.

It's mostly the "ClientFullBuild*.package" files, under Data\Client, that for some mysterious reason disappear for so many people after they try installing new stuff.

It sounds stupid, but do you have enough filespace on your hard-drive, before installing new Sims 4 DLC? Some people also suggest that this could be due to hard-drive failures, but I don't know what to think of that...
