Please someone help me :( [SOLVED]
Please someone help me before i lose my mind! I want to get rid of this error before i throw my computer out of the windows in the snow, dance on it, and go to mental hospital to get some morphine.
Ive litarally downloaded every single crack and pack and hack to get this error out of the way but nothing happened, WHY cant i get around of this error??!?! ive disabled my antivirus (malwarebytes) and ive make a exception in the firewall but nothing happened, ive have followed install instructions. EVERYTIME THIS ERROR, no i do not have origin installed, and i dont want to install that. (ive been reading about it and its not needed for a fully cracked game(why it would be lol))?
SOMEONE please just someone help me:(
BTW so hi everyone

Re: Please someone help me :( [SOLVED]
Probably the crack has been disabled by your Anti-Virus program.
Make sure your install folder is Program Files(x86)\The Sims 4 (and not Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4).
Now download the CRACK, place it inside your intall folder The Sims 4\Game\Bin, add this folder to the exceptions on your AV.
Extract the crack with Winrar overwriting existing files.
Start your game as an Administrator

1. Make sure that the folder Downloads (or whatever folder you have chosen for downloads) is in the exceptions of your AVZambu wrote:nope, that doesnt work either.Tarac wrote:Probably the crack has been disabled by your Anti-Virus program.

Extract the crack with Winrar overwriting existing files.
Start your game as an Administrator
2. Extract downloaded G4TW games with WINRAR and nothing else ! There should be no error messagages during extraction.
3. Install the base game
4. After installation of the base game in Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4, move (not copy) the folder The Sims 4 to Program Files and add that location to your AV
5. From the downloaded and extracted Get to Work copy all files and folders to the new location of the Sims 4 folder, overwriting existing files and folders
6. From the downloaded and extracted Get Together copy all files and folders to the new location of the Sims 4 folder, overwriting existing files and folders
7. From the downloaded and extracted City Living copy all files and folders to the new location of the Sims 4 folder, overwriting existing files and folders.
You now should be able to start your game as an Administrator. Note that it can take several minutes before the game starts, possible black screen or no noticable activity.
When you get the Origin not running message, the crack might have been disabled by your AV during extracting or copying files and folders. In that case download the CRACK again, put the complete winrar file in the folder Program Files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin (excluded in your AV), extract with Winrar and overwrite existing 5 files.
Try and start your game again as Administrator.

Re: Please someone help me :( [SOLVED]
I'm very sorry to hear that.Zambu wrote:Nope, i still get that origin error.
The Origin problem has only 4 causes:
1. Origin is active somewhere on your computer
2. Your game is still in a folder Electronic Arts, Origin or Origin Games
3. You haven't placed the crack correctly or the crack has been disabled by your AV
4. You allowed Origin to update your game, but this can only happen when you also own a legit copy of the Sims 4.

I have downloaded, installed, removed, re-installed the G4TW as well as my own uploads dozens and dozens of times.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the G4TW downloads.
Somewhere along the line you must have overseen something in the instructions.

Help someone please! Im still running on the same error

Re: Please someone help me :( [SOLVED]
I don't want to be rude, but .....Zambu wrote:Help someone please! Im still running on the same error
Hundreds, maybe thousands, maybe tens of thousands people have downloaded and installed the game without problems
There are many instructions on how to download, extract and install to be found on this forum
For you I have summarized these instructions again.
And still you state that you did everything "according to the book" ?
Read the instructions carefully and don't presume you can skip certain things.
I know, this sounds unfriendly whilst G4TW is known for a friendly approach.
Well I'm not a member of the staff but just a common user.

Re: Please someone help me :( [SOLVED]
Ah, that's a different story
When you try to start the game and you get the "update-error" the solution is very simple:
Go to users\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and delete the file GameVersion.
Then start your game again.
Earlier on you stated that you do not own a legit copy.
This error can only occur when you DO have a legit copy.

Solved the problem, it was firewall setting from network that was wrong.
