This is a brief post outlining the procedure of installing mods in "The Sims Medieval". Contrary to popular opinion, it works differently than in The Sims 3.

Download this little pack I compiled and extract with WinRAR. Now:

Arrow The "Mods"-folder goes into C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval

Arrow The mods you then put in go under C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval\Mods\Packages

Arrow The "Resource.cfg" goes into C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval

Arrow The "d3dx9_31.dll" goes under C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval\Game\Bin.

Then try your mods again. Smile  It shouldn't matter whether or not you have the "Pirates & Nobles" expansion installed, in addition to the basegame of The Sims Medieval.
