Is the Sims 3 complete download suitable for MAC?

I just have this one question and didn't know where to ask, so I'm posting it here. Is the download just for PC or MAC too?

I believe that the expansions will all work, but the base game does not.

Can you tell me what link you used? The complete collection link I used as shown in the guide is a x86 windows file and won't install on my macCanidae wrote:Worked fine for me, base game and all!

I'm not sure about the complete collection.
For a Mac you would require .iso files (exact duplicates of the original CD's) I presume.
