Reshade

So lately I've been using Reshade for The Sims 4 and it works just fine, except for one problem: instead of saving the settings, it resets every time I start the game, so I have to go through the tutorial and setting it all up again and again. It's not like it's THAT much of a bother, but I've already lost a few screenshots as I forgot to fill in some of the settings. I've also tried to change the Reshade version I'm using, but the problem is still there.

I haven't found anything about this problem, so I'm posting here, even though it's not exactly what G4TW is about... I'm wondering if it could be because my game is pirated. Tbh it's the one thing I can think of, since everything else seems to be working fine for me. I don't suppose there's much I can do about it if that's the reason, but still, here I am, hoping to at least settle this.
