Hi Admin!!
I've downloaded all The Sims 3 games from games4theworld and I love all of them..
And now I'd like to have the latest store update..
I know you have uploaded all of them in Mediafire..
But I think it would be better if you upload them as a torrent..
Mediafire is really annoying..
It doesn't allow me to download multiple files as I have to download them one by one..
And I'm not willing to download them from the other sources as I've trusted Games4theworld a lot for their service..

The store updates are all on Mediafire because they are updated every month. G4TW wants to avoid a long list of store update torrents.
But the good news is that you no longer have to download them one by one. G4TW recently released monthly sets for the 2009 store so these can be downloaded as .rar files. Saving you a lot of work.
Another thing you could do is get the store updates 1-26, these have actually been torrented. The difference with these is that they are .package files instead of sims3pack. They can be found on the website, from the link in my signature.
After that, getting the store updates since july '11 is easy, as there are sets available for each month.

What is the difference between .package and sims3pack files?
Which one do you recommend for me to download?
By the way does The Sims 3 - Pets the compressed version?
I wonder why the file size is so small..

It doesn't really matter, .package or sims3pack, unless you want to see a clear difference between store content and custom content in your buy/build mode. The package files will show up as custom content but the sims3pack files will show up as store content. But the items are the same. Installing the .package files is different than the sims3pack files, but its not difficult.
As for the Pets expansion, I recommend getting the [FIXED] version. Both files have been downsized. Some files have been removed, but the fixed version works fine on pc. If you're downloading the other version, that's still no problem, you'll have to get a fix in order to install it but that's all.

I've installed the Sims 3 from the base game until Pets expansion pack without any problems..
The Installation Guide is really great and easy to understand and great fix..
Going to update it directly via the manual patch you provided and apply the store content..
I'll tell you if anything goes wrong..
But until now I'm happy with it and no problem at all!!
