Some of my CC is not showing up in the game

I have the base game and all the expansions installed from this site and i have a tone of cc (only furniture)
i download them in sets (from simsresource mostly) then i merge each set into one file.
the problem is some of the stuff is not showing up in game...?
for example i download a kitchen set, some misc. stuff will show up in game but cabinets,appliances wont...?
why is this happening?

Mind you, not all CC's are what they seem to be.
Any "idiot" can upload a so-called CC which in fact could turn out to be a virus.

But mainly the reason why they don't appear is that they are made in a higher version of the game than yours.
Official Origin version is 1.26, pirated versions are still 1.25
