what folders should i remove before installing the toddler update?

Before i was going to install the new update, ive seen that we need to move some folders, then put them back in after.. what folders do i need to remove before doing so? i know we have to remove the mods folder, but is there anything else id need to move? like the save files, or recorded videos/screenshots, etc?

mods, tray, saves. move to desktop ( Not copy paste ). run game vanilla for a bit, then put mods back very slowly, not all at same time. Check if it works and then put next badge back, repeat. after mods put back the tray folder and play again. check if everything works. only then put back the saves.

move folders completely, After installing the update, run new Game. then move whatever is inside mods folder to the new mods folder, batch by batch. I created three new files, one called working cas, second was working buy and third had working build. After each checked batch I moved the mods to respective folders and started new batch. Very time consuming. But worth it.

Do not move resource file back. there is one in the new mods folder of new game

cool, so when we move stuff back we have to move it from inside the folder into a new folder? idk if that made sense but i mean like will the folders i moved be replaced with new folders?

this is my first time updating the game, i installed it all not long after city living was repacked, and my previous sims games, i never done it myself haha.

jup. There is a new mods folder created in your new game. So you move what is inside the mods folder. Everything except the resource file. Saves and tray you can move old folder back from Desktop. Even copy / paste works there. Will ask if you want to replace, click yes!
