Sims 3 - Requires CD - please help! I really wanna play the game

Hi there!
I've recently cracked the sims 3 with all DLC, and upon launch I get the following error: 'No game disc found! Please insert The Sims 3(tm) Into The Future before proceeding'. I then get an error message if I close out of the warning.
Before you ask, I have tried redoing the crack (step 4) at least 5 times and I've installed the universal fix. I also tried to uninstall my base game, but had to delete all the traces of my previous steam-bought Sims 3 game off of my computer before I did, and I reinstalled with no problem to the same error. I've trawled the forums for answers, but I couldn't find a clear answer on any of the topics.

Hello and welcome to the forum!
This happens when you don't follow the guides. But I know the fix!
Have you patched The Sims 3 Base Game before you started to download other expansion packs? This happens!
After you install The Sims 3, do not crack the game, especially not from the installation folder.
Now you can install the expansion packs! Remember not to crack any of expansion packs!!!
Now you can crack the expansion packs and everything! Download the fix, then apply the cracks. Use # Crack folder and copy everything to the Base game installation folder.
If you installed some expansion packs, for example, Late Night, and there is a Late Night folder. Copy only the .exe file with the logo to the base game bin. (SO NOT THE EXPANSION PACK FOLDER!) Also, DO NOT copy the .dll file.
Now there is a folder "All expansion packs released later including Generations", ignore that folder.
If you haven't done this before, you must start everything again

Actually, just get the fix, ignore all of the other folders and just copy the 2 files from the #Crack folder to your Base game\Bin, and allow those 2 files to replace both of the other files. Note that this will only work if you game is at patch level 1.67.
