Sims 3 incert disk problem? [SOLVED]

So I've downloaded the sims 3 expansion packs Generations and World Adventures from you and followed the fix. It worked for a while (except the face that build/buy mode frozen my game) until I needed the update for 1.29. I tried updating before using the fix, like it said in the instructions, but it didn't work, so I tried after I applied the fix. Still didn't work. Then I manually updated the game, but now it says I must insert the Sims 3 generations disk. Any solution to this? ![Sims 3 incert disk problem? Hello,
I think you can fix this by getting the latest fix. The crack from the previous fix isn't compatible with the new game version.

Alright. I re-downloaded the fix, but before I use it, do I also do step 3, apply it to the base game even though mine was store bought?

Yes you should, since installing Generations and using the crack has modified these files and as such, will no longer be recognized by the update's installer if you don't.
