Can't play offline?

My game always crashes every time my internet goes out. I've tried starting it with my internet not connected and it still crashes. Do you have to be connected to play?

Are you talking about the G4TW version of sims 4? I always play that version off-line. Never on-line and do not have that problem. I think the zlorigin version needs to be played with internet connection, but here I speak under correction.

Only ZLOrigin is online playing.

That is weird, because you are not supposed to play it on-line. In games settings have you disabled everything relating to playing online, gallery , notifications etc?
