Trying to open ANY househod takes me back to map screen

Hi everyone!  So... After I downloaded the base game, I got a little too hyped and started playing with just that while the other extensions downloades, since my internet connection is pretty slow, i couldnt wait any longer, I was super excited to finally have the game again. Everything went smoothly, played for a couple of days, then when every other download was done I decided to install every one of them, up to vampires & toddles; after this I got a problem that seemed pretty popular, the ¨origin is not running¨, I tried every fix recomended that I could find but was unsuccesful; since I was desperate to get back to my game I deleted every extension back to having just the base game, this worked and I was able to carry on with my game; so after a day or two I decided to try adding the extensions AGAIN, fisrt I tried just with GTW , tried to run it and got an ¨unable to run program¨ or omething allong those lines message; I tried fixing that to but AGAIN, was unsuccesful, so I basically gave up and decided to go back to just having the base game, followed the same steps of the first time I did this, but now I bumped in to the problem of my households not opening I tried all of the tips provided in the forum, moved the EA documents file, and so much other stuff that I cant remember anymore, needless to say nothing has worked, not even uninstalling and re-installing the game, IM DESPERATE NOW. 
Anyone have an idea of what to do?

Did you follow these instructions as well as adding the Downloads folder temporarily to the exclusions?

Please do all the steps. Every single one of them.

install every pack seperately and check if it works. You will have to do a clean install again, just to be sure. One after the other.. Play a bit, check cas as well, exit, add new extracted torrent and check again. you will than see which torrent gives the problem.

Installed and downloaded the base game again( following the steps provides), tried it, and same problem: households wont open. 

Hi there @Ageha   , the problem is happening with every household in the game, including the ones that already come with it; I did try the saves thing  but no succes, not even deleting the whole ¨documents-ea-sims3¨ folder and starting from 0 or re-downloading and re-installing the game worked 

I assume you mean Sims 4. It looks as if you will have to run a complete clean up of sims 4 on your computer. Search for and find everything sims 4 related that has been installed. You have to remove all of it. I hope you still have the .Rar files for sims 4, get to work, etc up to vampires and toddlers from G4TW somewhere safe. otherwise you will have to download again. Extract them and start completely from scratch, as if you have never ever installed the game. If you have any mods in your current version, move them to a safe place before uninstalling everything else sims 4 related. I think somewhere along the line your game has been totally corrupted. Maybe that works.

I have same issue, fresh install, all antivirus steps followed and no mods.
