I am thinking of staying with Sims 3

Hello everybody! I have not been around for a long time. Yet I am still alive and well, like everyone else in my entourage.

I want to stay with the Sims 3 for myself. I do not know, but I think I have had enough of waiting after every single new expansion announced. Also, I spoke with my sons, and we have all decided to stick with Sims 3.

I am very glad that Sims 4 have got out for the rest of the gang. But I this is it for me. I am not saying I am leaving this fabulous page! I love Games4theworld!

I just need to ask the managers of this website a little something.

Are you planning on finishing uploading the Sims 3 store stuff shortly? No meaning to sound pressing, but I have everything already available. There are a few months left. Can you upload the remaining missing stuff soon? Please?

Well I personally have all of the store items... If youd like to pm me I could upload what I have and give you the link of course. Admin is doing his best at completing the store items on the download site. I have the Sims 4 and I honestly don't think its too bad... I will wait for the expansions to fully past judgment in that sense but I like the sims 3 Razz

Then again... it totally helps that I have a computer that can actually RUN the Sims 3 Razz

Hello Kabiru and welcome back,

One reason the work on this "download server" has (temporarily) come to a halt, is because of The Sims 4. We're currently trying to figure out "how" a potential release of The Sims 4 could look like. Besides, the Admin is also busy with other stuff (e-mail support, account administration, Twitter/Facebook, server management, etc.).

Yes, you can ask Lori for store items, or, alternatively - look on Piratebay for the uploader "rachelstoolbox". That is a trusted uploader, and some team members (like me Razz

) got their stuff from Rachel. Her most recent upload is a collection of store items from June 2009 to May 2014. Not only does the download have all .sims3packs, but there are also .package files ! You might want to give that a try. I did, and this particular release from Rachel is one of my personal all-time favorites. Smile

P.S. yes, I will also stick with The Sims 3, too. For a very long time.

i can't find Sandy Shoals Sea Shanty anywhere it was released in store around august 3rd 2014 does anyone have it please? been searching everywhere

Y'know what, I got the sims 4 as a gift and I've played it since receiving it in October, while I found it to be very restrictive to what you can actually do, and seriously lacking even the basic content, I talked myself into liking it and haven't played the sims 3 since then, but after the last update EA did totally screwed over my keyboard and makes it disconnect during game play, I actually went BACK to the sims 3 until I figure out how to fix the keyboard thing.

And tbh, I don't know about returning to sims 4, even after the keyboard thing is fixed. I forgot how awesome the sims 3 is!! I'm having more fun on it now than i ever had lol. tbh, stay with the sims 3, at least for another 2-3 years until the sims 4 catches up with features/content lol. I know I will be.

For now, I'm sticking to TS3. I'm finally able to play the game properly (having bought a new pc) and I don't want to miss out on the experience.
I have TS4, it's quite enjoyable and I'll go back to it once there's more to it. My time is limited so I'd like to spend it well Very Happy

I agree completely, I have TS3 and 4 with everything for both. I find myself confused when I'm playing either game as I'm looking for an object or feature while in one of the games and realize "oh...that's in the other one" I'm easily frustrated with the sims 4 building tools as they are different enough from the sims 3 that I battle with the feeling of being a novice in an environment I felt I had previously mastered.

New member here. Yeah, the Sims 3 is ultimately the better one I've found. However, it's really hard to find all the store content as of August 2014. Wondering if anyone can help out in that regard?

Even nowadays I still play The Sims 3 over the fourth game.

I tried the Sims 4 with your website and yeah, it's great. But it lacks still the completeness and ultimateness The Sims 3 offered at its end and pinnacle.

True. That's why i also just play ts4 for a little time and then quit. Sure, there are mods out there who do fix some things, but biggest problem is the lack of cars and taxis. I don't dig that zippythezap thing. Gosh, do i miss fresh prince creations, which were done for ts2 and ts3. That's why i also stick to ts3. I also happen to still play the sims 2 and all it's expansions and stuffpacks, together with a huge load of mods. I just like those agressive sims in there and their constant fights. Also, vampires are just better in both ts2 and ts3. And i like the vip thing in ts3 and the dynamic neighbourhood as well. I could go on, but point is that i do favor ts2 and ts3 over ts4 as well. I even play medieval sometimes (got that on origin)

TS2 is a great game as well. I have all Sims games, TS1, TS2, TS3 and TS4, and also Sims Medieval. My best Sim has been TS3.
I agree with TS2 being very cool as well.
