Parenthood Update Problem [SOLVED]

My value characteristics also do not change. No matter what I do, they're always plain grey all the time.
Any way I can fix all of this?

• Parenting skills options will increase as you level up. Click on a child the sim and choose more options, the 'parenting' dialogue option should show up and you can expand the choices.
  
• There's actually nothing much for toddlers to do. Even if you teach them stuffs their value won't go up much.
  
• Try to put the school objects outside (backyard) and the journal on the floor to see if the sim is able to go there or pick them up.

Do you have any mods for your game? If yes, then move them out and test the game. If not,

If all else fails, re-install Parenthood followed by the latest patch here.

I'm assuming since you've mentioned the new update it's actually this and not the update only fix.

Also, double checking that you have actually installed Parenthood prior to installing the update above. If no, you can download it here and if yes, try re-installing the Parenthood again. 


Make sure you've added the files/folders to your exception list or you've turn off the anti-virus.
