Please, help. [SOLVED] Empty Please, help. [SOLVED]

Hello,

I have downloaded all TS4, and the game was working after I installed Get To Work. I followed all institutions for Get Together,  although in the installation guide it says to move folders AFTER you've installed it, but doesn't tell you how to install? So I just moved the folders, and with city living, that hasn't got an installation guide with it at all.

After I'd moved folders in Get Together, TS4 icon disappeared and it said "this shortcut doesn't work anymore"?

I don't want to continue trying with city living until I can figure out what I've done wrong so far, and find the installation guide for city living?

Thank you in advance for your help.

You moved the installation folder, so you must make a new shortcut from that new folder\Game\Bin\TS4.exe (or TS4_x64).exe.
The just copy/paste the files and folders of the other DLC's to your new installation folder.

So do I need to uninstall what I've already done and start again? Or can I continue as is? And I can't find any installation guide for city living and it has a lot more folders than the other two expansions I've downloaded.

No need to uninstall as long as your install folder The Sims 4 is no longer in another folder called Origin Games or Electronic Arts.
And yes, just copy all folders from the downloads over to your install folder The Sims 4.
(The last one, update 1.30.105.1010 contains even more folders to copy).

Thank you. I'd already moved TS4 folder out of Electronic Arts. I just don't want to copy the wrong things. I've been copying all folders into TS4 folder and then when it asks clicking "replace" so hopefully I'm doing it right but City Living through me off because there's no instructions lol.

I keep getting the system error

The program can't start because MSVCP120.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Thank you will have a look. Also, do you need Origin installed on the PC or doesn't it matter as I don't have it?

Hi there,

Under The Sims 4\__Installer\vc, there are two folders. Open them and run both vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe in redist folder.

EDIT:
You do not need origin to play the game. Smile

Thanks. So it's up. Running. Game works until I chose a household, press play, a loading screen appears and then it takes me back to the world screen. Have I done something wrong?
