Sims4 Parenthood - Pack download in progress?

After downloading the latest patch when I load the game, why does the "Pack download in progress, your uninstalled packs are downloading now. You will receive a notification once the download is complete" occur? I tried playing but there is also none of the parenthood interaction at all.

Same.. I'm trying a full reinstall to see if it will work. This has never happen to me ever with a G4TW download.

Hi,

The game packs might be corrupted/didn't install properly. Try to re-install back the EP and load the game without any mods, just to make sure.

Hi,

The game packs might be corrupted/didn't install properly. Try to re-install back the EP and load the game without any mods, just to make sure.

Tried Reinstalling it. Still the same.

Try re-downloading. The previous download might be corrupted or incomplete.

I see. Try to re-download the files again, and make sure that anti-virus/windows defender are either turn off or folders have been out into the exclusion list. Sometimes this program like to delete this files without warning.

edit: yeah, basically try to re-download your parenthood pack again. You can check if you have GP05 in your files as well.

Yup. Tried all the steps mentioned. Even re-downloaded the game pack twice over to make sure. I guess I'm just unlucky lol

Did you download only game patch or also Parenthood game pack which is around 3gb? Alltogether it should be 4gb

Is your installation path at Program Files(x86)? If yes, try to move it to desktop and run the game.

EDIT: Turns out I had installed a wrong&incomplete version of the update. Everything seems to be working fine now. I've got the parenting interactions and stuff, they are working so far. I've just started the game and loaded a household with 2 toddlers, played for about 3-4 minutes in game, so further problems may occure, but so far everything is ok.
For those who are having problems, download the torrent for parenthood from here : https://games4theworld.org/downloads/
It should work nicely.

I am having the exact same problem.
-I have had all the previous updates up to vampires & toddlers.
-I downloaded the parenthood update and applied the crack provided as usual.
-I updated my mc command center accordingly. (Not using any other script mods)
-I cleared my game cache.
-I downloaded the new "game" folder from here for the forever loading households issue so the original game files is named "game_"
-When I start the game, all expansions, gamepacks and dlc's are starting normally except the parenthood.
-So I get this message "pack download is in progress", on the left, the icon that was suppossed to be the new icon for the parenthood pack is grayed out with an llama siluette.

Shortly,
Parenthood gamepack is missing some files. (I made sure that my virus protection software didn't delete any files from what I originally downloaded)

I installed the pack 2 days ago, all my previous games are from G4TW. All the content for the pack is there but zero parent skill interactions, cant make lunch for school, character values not working at all, cant use family bulletin board etc. can someone please help?
