Game Freezing/Resuming ingame Empty Game Freezing/Resuming ingame

The game was fine in the beginning, but now every hour or so, on ultra speed. Meaning, 10-15 seconds typically, it freezes. Then i wait a minute or so, it resumes, and then it freezes another 15 seconds later. Its pretty much unplayable. Any ideas?

You might want to check this, just to be sure: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/

Let's see, try running the game on the LOWEST settings and turn off all advanced options. (For example "Mirror reflection")

The site says i shouldnt have any issues. But, ill try lowering anyway. Couldnt hurt to try.

It didnt do it as much. But still, every once and a while it will kick in again where the freezing/resuming is on and off, on and off. Its, playable now. Ill see if it stays that way

Hello,
Another thing you can try is playing in windowed mode. It also doesn't hurt to end any unneeded processes in the background.

I have this exact issue. I have lowered settings, applied the fix. i have pets, generations, and town life in installed it worked fine for a awhile then suddenly started this.

First of all, its always best to open a new topic, even if you're having the same problem as described in another post. Even if the problem is the same, the solution may not be.
What we most need to know is, are you using any mods/cc?
