Insert disc Sims 3 pets

I've read a lot of these post about this and feel dumb for asking.
I went to download the 'fix' and every time I type in the 'captcha' it does nothing!!
HELLLP!
Getting pretty frustrated over here

Try using the "Mirror" links. These can be found next to the official Fix' link.
Not sure whether I understand what you mean, but it doesn't matter where you store the file on your hard disk, just be sure to extract it and apply it as shown in this video: https://youtu.be/TrRrF5ysPa8?hd=1
