Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
I was so excited to play with vamps and toddlers after almost sixth months, but when I created a household it took forever to load that I ended up quitting! Has anyone else had this problem or a solution?

Re: Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
I just made a thread yesterday about this exact problem!
But sadly I didn't get any answers, as a new g4tw update is in the works
But I feel you I've waited soooo much to get it done then everything good until I tried loading a household...I've even tried renaming the ts4 folder in documents and starting from a new save, but the same problem occurs...so I am just going to wait for the new crack here

Having this exact problem as well with the game loading normally and going just as quick but once I went to load into my Sims household I legitimately let it load for thirty minutes before giving up and attempting to remove mods/saves/etc and it still didn't work

Have you tried repairing the game?

Re: Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
Well i have the same problem. I think it is because i really had the sims 4 for a long time and just updating/adding new dlc/updates releases to the sims 4 folder and sadly something broke. I did everything to fix it without waiting for the new g4tw release or something - for example: Resetting the game to factory settings, deleting my whole sims 4 folder in documents to create a fresh new save and nothing works. It's not caused by cc's or save it seems just something broke withing the game folder and needs a fresh download.

Sorry huns, but looks like you have to wait just a bit longer for the G4TW's crack so you can use that one. Looks like you can't mix and match the cracks. But at least you know it won't be long now.

Well I've installed the new update 1.26 on my old G4TW games and had no problems playing with my old households.Koko Kinomis wrote:Sorry huns, but looks like you have to wait just a bit longer for the G4TW's crack so you can use that one. What? Really? Hm, then I'm not sure what the problem is. And 1.26? I thought it was 1.29.

Try running TS4.exe instead of TS4_x64.exe

Re: Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
Thanks for that suggestion but it seems like that doesn't work either. I really think that plumbob is trying to hypnotize me now. I wonder what is it I'm not doing right. It seems to work for some and not for others. *uses it like a demo for trying on outfits and stuffs in the meantime*MaxisPC wrote:Try running TS4.exe instead of TS4_x64.exe

Are you using the ZLOrign method or the new Reloaded (RLD) crack for v1.29?

Re: Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
Oh no, didn't bother to try that since my data is limited. I'm using the ones from G4TW. I figured since that's where the cracks usually came from there wouldn't be a problem, right? I probably did something wrong why it won't work, just not quite sure what it is.MaxisPC wrote:Koko Kinomis wrote:Thanks for that suggestion but it seems like that doesn't work either. I also suspect this is some Windows Defender/anti-virus issue, since I myself still can't really load into a savefile, so for now, I guess we'll have to postpone the release of a new Ultimate fix, sorry.

Did you check your antivirus's quarantined list/history. Maybe it automatically quarantined some game files.

Windows Defender was even turned off in my case, and yet acted on its own. But I'm also re-downloading (your) update now, and maybe I can make something out of that in the meantime.

Re: Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
Well my virus protection did see the "rldorigin_ext.dll" as a threat but I was able to restore it and put both folders (the one that has the crack and the one in my program files) into the exlusion section. But if that was the case, would it not work at all or I would get some kind of error? I haven't tried putting the TS4.exe and TS4_x.64 separately though.Tarac wrote:Windows defender blocks TS4.exe and TS4_x.64.The_gh0stm4n wrote:Koko Kinomis wrote:Oh no, didn't bother to try that since my data is limited. Re: Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
Just to make sure I wasn't kidding myself, I took an old Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder from another computer.
Game was saved on 17th of January 2017.
I made it my The Sims 4 folder in Documents.
Started The Sims 4 and could play that game - after receiving quite a couple of "welcome screens" without any delay or other problems.

Hey! That's a friend of mine's birthday! Anywho, how about I send a pic of the cracked folder and see if nothing is missing from that. If there is then maybe that's the problem?

Even after excluding all my bin folders it still comes up with a warning. Pretty annoying

Re: Long loading screen into households (After Vampire DLC) [SOLVED]
Okay, a little update. I unninstalled my old sims 4 and downloaded fresh game with everything from g4tw but still the same problem is still here - stuck on household loading screen. I decided to delete everything again and install the game up to City living without the Vampire pack and game worked fine i could do everything, never ending loading screen is gone. Then i installed vampires pack again and the problem comes back - no matter if with or without cc's and mods, fresh saves, old saves. Sad.
I should add that i didnt use Zorigin the alternative way to play before the crack came out. I was just waiting and playing city living, so maybe thats the problem? Seems like some people that used alternative way to download the game and stuff dont have that problem.

Actually, I am playing the new content via ZLOrigin, but I downloaded the Realoaded crack yesterday and I'm having the same problem as you. Never ending loading screen when you select a household to play.
Guess there are some files that aren't working correctly in their crack, I'm not sure.

ugh, I guess it's no sims for me for a while. I downloaded a load of new cc and If i revert my game back to 1.26 I won't be able to play with the new cc.
