Can you change where the game installs to? [SOLVED]

Basically what the title says. 
I'd like to install the game onto my SSD which has more space but every time I try to change where to install the game, it always ends up in the C: drive. Is this normal?

Yes, the base game by default installs to c; drive. BUT, after it has installed ( only the base game ) you can MOVE the folder The sims 4 out of the electronic arts folder to your external drive. C I have mine on two external drives. ) You than install all the expansions, stuff packs etc to that moved file. Please remember to Copy/ paste the files.
The first move out of the electronic arts folder is vitally important, to avoid the origin is not running error.
