World Adventures expansion problems. [SOLVED]

Hi.
I installed the sims 3 and it worked fine.
And then i started installing the WA expansion.
I followed each step untill the end and it all seemed fine, but in the end i had to update the game through EA Download manager and when i tried that It said that it could not connect to EA Download manager. I have really looked forward to play this game and i hoped you guys could help me.

I recommend you do the following:


1. Backup your SaveGames.
2. Uninstall áll The SIms 3 games. (Including EA Download Manager)
3. Restart your PC.
4. Reinstall The Sims 3. (Without EA Download Manager)
5. Reinstall WA. (Without EA Download Manager)
6. Install our Ambitions release from www.games4theworld.org. (Otherwise the launcher won't work)
7. Enjoy playing!

but in the installation guide it says that i should install high end loft stuff first. Should I ignore it?

I recommend you skip HELS, because it has nothing special and it just takes more place on your HDD for nothing.

Yes, you can safely install HELS áfter Ambitions.
