Installing Sims 4 Get Together Empty Installing Sims 4 Get Together

Post by Guest Fri 07 Jul 2017, 01:16

I'm not sure how to post on forums, just saying that now.

The problem is that I have the original paid for versions of TS4 and Get to Work, but when I copy and paste the crack of Get Together my Origin asks me to update the game, and if I do so the game does not appear with Get Together installed. I also cannot run TS4 in offline mode, as Origin knows my TS4 is not updated. My files for EP and whatnot are located in:
OS (C:)/Program Files (x86) /Origin Games /The Sims 4.
I have followed the instructions and turned of my firewall to copy and paste the files. I'd really like this to be resolved.
Thanks.

Keep the 2 versions seperated.
1. Legal Base Game + Get to Work - let it update by Origin.
2. Pirated Base + all DLC's in a seperate folder on your computer.

But, your problem is most probably caused by still having Base + Get To Work + pirated Get Together in in a folder called Origin Games or Electronic Arts.
Completely MOVE (not copy) the folder The Sims 4 out of the folder Origin Games to f.e. C:\Program Files\The Sims 4

Ok, so I have moved the The Sims 4 folder completely to program files and then copied and pasted the pirated Get Together to TS4 folder, and now my origin says download for The Sims 4 as if I don't have it.

Once you have moved the folder, make sure Origin is no longer active on your computer.

How so? I'm quite a newbie when it comes to this.
Could you type me a detailed list of instructions on what to do? Thanks.

You can uninstall the Origin completely, or make sure that the program is not running in task manager. You can take a look at this guide here on uninstalling the Origin manually.
