The Sims 3 Please reinstall base game.

So I was able to play sims 3 w/ all expansions (I always followed the fix) and I have done a brief search of the forum. It hasn't worked since re-installing windows on another drive because of spyware issues which can't have affected the game since I haven't seen any of the stuff the spyware was putting up on my pc since the reinstallation. I haven't played the sims 3 for quite a while but I was certain it was working beforehand. I am running Windows 10 pro 64 bit before and after the reinstallation, and I want a way to play the game without spending 4 hours re-installing and testing. At the very least  I can probably reinstall the base game.

Hello,

You re-installed Windows on another drive; did you do anything specific with the Sims 3 installation (on the old drive)? Like, did you maybe MOVE the folder of the installation, to the new drive?

Yes, when you re-install Windows, then the old registry entries (of the game) will be gone as well. Good to hear you figured it out! Was there anything else you needed help with, for the moment?
