Is The Sims 4 ZLOrigin playable offline?

I downloaded the game yesterday through ZLOrigin, it works as it should, even though having to start up everything before I can even open the game is annoying.

Then it dawned on me... can I play the game if my internet dies? If I wanted to start the game with no internet, would that be possible?

ZlOrigin cannot be started if ZClient doesn't connect to the server, so I'm thinking the answer is no, but I may have missed something.

No you can't. You need to be connected to the internet if you want to play using ZLOrigin. 
There's now a new Reloaded crack for TS4 which doesn't require any internet connection here in case you missed it:

Yeah, I saw it.
That's why I was asking, to see if it'd be better to switch back 'cause I spent so long downloading everything... I'll stick with G4TW's releases, then.

Yep. The new G4TW update is only 4GB, so it shouldn't take forever to download.

ZLOrigin The Sims 4 can be played off-line But you'll have to move the install folder out of Origin Games, ZLOrigin Games and Electronic Arts.
When that's done you can use the folder Game from the most recent G4TW download, rename that folder to Game cracked and place it in the install directory of ZLOrigin, thus creating 2 folders, Game and Game cracked.
Via shortcuts of Game cracked you can play off-line.
Bear in mind that you will get the "Cannot start, higher version, update via Origin" error.
To circumvent that error copy the file Default.ini from the folder Game\Bin to the folder Game cracked\Bin.

The Sims 2 version by ZLOrigin can be played off-line without any additional handling anyway
