Sims 3 base game incompatible. [SOLVED]

Hi! I've recently bought the sims 3 base game and i have downloaded your World Adventures, Ambitions, Generations and Late Night EP's. The EP's installed just fine, and I did everything needed from the Fix's installation guide. I can't even open the launcher unless it's the "Sims3LauncherW" app from the Game/Bin folder. I've tried to uninstall my cc, but it won't let me uninstall it from the Launcher.

This is the error that comes up everytime. I hope someone can help me solve this problem. Thank you!

I copied the crack to Electronic Arts/Sims3/Game/Bin, but inside it there's another Game/Bin, with fewer files, like so:



Should I copy the crack to that folder too, or should I just use the manual patch?

I wonder why it is ...\Sims 3\Game\Bin\Game\Bin

This must be caused by a corrupt installation. Where did you get the base game from?

Yes my game is already up to date, since I had just installed it about 2 weeks ago. But I did re-apply the fix and I used the manual patch. I actually found another Game/Bin in D: and I copied the crack to that one too. Now everything is working perfectly.

@Admin: I actually got the Base Game as a Christmas gift. Though I moved the Electronic Arts folder from C: to D: and that might have caused it? Lol it was most likely my own stupidity, since I even found a third Game folder. xD

Haha, sounds like a big mess, with all due respect.
Never, OK, NEVER copy an installation folder when you want to move it to another drive and/or folder! Always remove and reinstall it to the folder you want it in. If you move them, your PC will lose all shortcuts and it won't recognize where the game is actually located. Everything will mess up that way.

Thank you so much for that! Every few weeks my C: drive gets almost full and I always just moved the files to D:. I'll remember to reinstall instead of moving my folders next time.
