I looked through the topics but couldn't find anything about this issue, so here. The problem is, when a sim invites me to a place to hang out, the place doesn't show up. Lots don't show up when a social event going on...? [SOLVED] D2Zs

This happens in every worlds. Why is this happening Why.

Hi there,

Have you tested the game without any mods/CC after the bug? If no, do so and see if the lot appears. If it does not, try applying the City Living update again to your game.

I don't have any CC/mods. I'll try applying the City Living update again but won't I need to apply the latest update as well after that?

Oh wait. I'm sorry. Is that from Get Together?? If it is then you need to start from Get Together instead.

Yes, assuming you have up till Fitness, City Living -> Vampire -> Parenthood -> Fitness. Also, is there an option to place pre-made lots instead rather than re-installing? Sorry, I could not check this on my end at the moment.

This problem happens in all worlds, not just in Windenburg.
I did place the pre-made lots if there is, but some lots don't exist in the library so I cannot do anything regarding them Why.

I'll try applying all the updates one bu one again, hope it works.

(Sorry for the double post) I updated the game again by applying all updates one by one but the problem still remains. I noticed that it happens when I manage worlds, too, not only when a social event is going on. I don't wanna download all lots one by one and replace them, help Crying or Very sad

It has never happened before.

Hi there and sorry for the late reply.

I see. Have you tried starting a new game instead? Or renaming your current Sims 4 folder in Documents and then start the game?

If starting a new game -> It's better to exit the game completely without saving and then choose new game.
Else, since this is much faster, rename your current Sims 4 folder to Sims4Backup (or anything) and then run the game (as administrator).
The longer workaround however is like you said, to replace the lots one by one, which is honestly, time-consuming.

Do keep me updated if you have found a workound or the above suggestions work or not.

-I had already saved my game after this problem occured, that's why I couldn't go back to where it happened first, sadly Sad

-And then I tried starting a new game, carrying the saves and some couple of other files in My Documents somewhere else. The game created new files and managing the worlds was just fine with this new game. But when I replaced the save games with my old one, the problem continued (obviously, I guess, since I saved my game with the problem). So this one didn't work as well.

-As the last resort, I replaced the lots one by one. It took a lot of time, but it worked. I found out that even the households have this problem, so I have to replace them as well. But I saw some crooked roads and the map was kinda broken in Oasis Springs. Now I say "Oh well, after all that effort I'll keep a blind eye on this one." Wat.

Edit: I guess I've solved the problem the roundabout way. I saved my house and my sim to my library, started a new game and voila! My sim may have lost his relationships but the game works just fine now!

Hey @Jeikeistar ,

Actually the reason why your 'saves' keep having the bug is because the save was corrupted. When you saved the game after that bug appeared, it will corrupt the entire save in process. You might be able to revert back to a previous save, though it seems you're able to start a new game successfully.

It's good to take note that in future, if you think there's a major bug happening, to NOT save the game so it won't get corrupted.
