Piano freezes when sim tries to serenade another sim?

So I just tried serenading one of my sims by way of Piano and he goes to do it but then suddenly disappears from his seat to another part of the room and the piano freezes. I can no longer do any actions with it, delete it or move it. Help!

No I didn't, I haven't downloaded any objects aside from what was already in the game.

Ah, that's weird. Maybe it's a bug. Do you have the latest version of the game? Or do you know which version you have? (Look at the base game's version on the launcher; lower-left corner of the screen, hover your mouse over the base game's icon to see your game's version)

Hmmm... that's odd, it's the latest version of the game. Might be a bug with the latest version of the game, that's possible.
Do you have the Pets expansion?

I have all the expansions installed and I've been playing it just fine for a week now until my sim try serenading another sim

Hmmm... then it's probably just a bug and you'll need to wait for it to get patched. Try not using the piano or using another model(?).
Maybe Lady ElDi can provide more information.
