Strangetown (sims & lots).

Hi there,
For those who have legit games (and have access to the gallery), can you help me please?
I have seen a s4 version of Strangetown on this blog: ts4strangetown.tumblr.com and I want it so much but I can't access the gallery. Would you be kind and give them to me? If yes, there's how:
1. Access the gallery and save the lots and sims into your library
2. Go to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray
3. Sort the files by date (so you don't upload your whole library)
4. Ex text the files and upload them

Please please I really want them! I've already contacted the creators, but, they don't reply, I've tried a whole week, but nothing. Maybe they're against piracy,who knows?
Anyway, I'm gonna thank you forever if you do this. Smile

Guess what: I have TS4 on Origin, but technically not installed (all my installed TS4 stuff is from G4TW). I still have access to the gallery though, so there you go: http://bluenik.com/3L6w

I hope I got everything right. By the way, no need to mess around with "sort items by date so that you don't upload your whole Tray-folder". Just temporarily rename your own Tray-folder into anything different. When you then access the gallery and download stuff, the Tray-folder will be re-created, and hence all new stuff will be saved in that "new" Tray-folder.

Not sure if the uploaders are against piracy; maybe they're "just" interested in getting as many views and likes to their gallery creations as possible.

P.S. never mention any clue (online) that you are using pirated games, no matter what game it is about, unless you know for sure that the blog/site/forum you are asking on, approves of piracy. But don't ask directly either, whether they support piracy. It's usually clear anyway, by the content of the respective site.

So that's why they didn't respond, I mentioned that my game is pirated. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll never do that again! Wink

Make sure that while you're in your "library", that you look on the left-hand side. You'll see the option "advanced" there, which you should unfold. And then MARK the box named "include custom content". The same goes when you go into library when "managing the neighborhood" (= selecting a lot from the library and then placing it).

The house that you are "missing", is there.

And as mentioned, there is no safe way of telling what these bloggers are thinking, at least not from our/your perspective. Maybe they "just" don't reply to individual help requests. This is what I myself would do too, if I went as far as posting my "precious" gallery creations on a website: I want to generate as many website clicks and (gallery) "likes" as possible, and sending people the creations via filesharing links doesn't exactly achieve that purpose.

Anyhow, I'll close the thread now. Have fun all ! And remember again: when you download stuff (either from the gallery or websites) that needs to be put into the Tray-folder, make sure to not overlook the box on the left that I mentioned, which says "include custom content".

Hi, I see there is a topic "Strangetown sims&lots" but it is closed so I had to open a new one.
Also, the Strangetown for sims 4 project may update soon with townies and more sims, I will want those too but later, when they are released. IAmSoHappyEmergahwd

For now, I'd want this one last house from the original Strangetown.

- The Singles, Tricou and Caliente (and also their parents Nighat and Katrina, if you could) households by skellington7d
