JUST WONT START UP @ ALL!

Hello G4TW Gurus!

i just finished installing the sims 4 with all the patches and updates and the game wont start. tried running it as admin for the 32 & 64 bit versions without the origin running of course.. now a lil info before we jump into the trouble shooting

Yes, i followed ALL the instructions to the letter!
After EACH patch and i started the game EVERY TIME just to check if there were any glitches.. everything was like clock work!
totally fine!!
Got the the LAST update "Toddler Stuff" and CABLOOIE! a hickup! it would not start!
so... i applied the "The_Sims_4_EC3_fix" ... NOPE..  still wont start up.. no error but when i watch the EXE in the task manager
the sims get to about 22mb of ram.. there is a quick flash of a popup that is gone just as fast as a blink of the eye and The Sims 4.exe poofs! gone from the task manager.. same for both EXEs ... POOFS!

nope.. no mods or CC installed.
nope .. orgin is not running (yes, i checked)
yes. restarted my system.. and same.. wont run
yes.. tried running both EXE as admin.... same results

HELP!! PRETTY PLEASE *super sad face*

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! FOR ME ANY WAY! LOLL


Got my game running by going back and coping the Fitness folder on top of the Toddler Stuff ... And it started right up! so Woot!! This problem was really annoying because .. i dont like sims toddlers any way! i always use a cheat to age them up to kids immediately! Lil buggers are just a pain and now doubly so! So.. hey.. screw it! didnt want the Toddler crap to begin with! 

I guess ill worry about it when or if i decided i need a cat or a dog.. lol

Hello and welcome to the Forum,

I'm glad to hear that the game seems to be working for now, but my guess is you will be running into difficulties with the game down the road, as you are not supposed to apply Fitness Stuff "on top of" Toddlers Stuff. 

Did you use WinRAR for extracting the Toddlers Stuff torrent? Have you tried re-downloading Toddlers Stuff with a different torrent client as well (which is known in some cases to help fetch torrent that always seem to be corrupted).
