the game wont start

i've gone through the entire process of installing each and every game and update available currently. but when i try to run i get an error message and i'm not quite sure what its talking about:

Did you read the purple text in Update 1.46 thread?

yes. i didn't delete anything. i just added the _ to the game folder, and then i moved the entire sims 4 folder into the program files folder. but i didn't delete anythiing.

That's the same thing. The game doesn't care about "Game_" folder. It only looks in "Game" one. So now move files from "Game" folder to "Game_", delete "Game" and rename "Game_" to "Game".

ok, so i downloaded the update version 1.46. i applied the update. i renamed "Game_" to "Game" i ran both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. both times as the administrator, and just double-clicking the icons, and both times it said the same thing as above.

Delete "Game" folder, download and extract "Game" folder from Update 1.46 thread. Not the update, just the Game folder, there's separate link.

ok at first i just clicked and dragged the game download, (my apologies i wasn't clear, i had downloaded and extracted the "game" download. but i went and deleted the game folder in my sims 4 folder. and then i click and drag over to the sims 4. but i still continue to get the error message about missing OrangeEmu.dll.

Add "The Sims 4\Game\Bin" folder to your anti-virus exception list and extract Game folder again.

It still hasn't started. it still says something about OrangeEmu.dll. IDK what else to do at this point. this is the first time i've ever encountered an issue with this.

Make sure that your The Sims  folder is in the exceptions of your anti-virus.
Same applies for the folder you download the Game folder to.
Then extract Game with Winrar and place it in your install folder The Sims 4
