i've tried alot of things but how can i update the sims 3 so i can install ambitons and other packs. everytime i do it it tells me my version has been deactivated and to call customer service.

Hello,
It don't know how to Update The Sims 3 seperate, but if you want the latest version of the Game, do the following:
1. Install our WA release from www.games4theworld.org .
2. Install our Ambitions release from www.games4theworld.org .
3. You now have the latest version of the game!
