First off I wanna start by thanking you guys and gals for getting, Cats & Dogs out to us so quickly. I understand with each release there will be problems, but this error code is a new one that I have never ran across. Downloaded and installed, Cats and Dogs on the day the torrents came up. Have been playing great ever since. I have already updated all mods and CC and done batch fixes. Everything was fine, until, today I decided to do a clean up of my maps and delete some of the game generated sims so my population wouldn't get to high and start lagging my game. (It happens every time)
The error code is: 102:70c7f9a6:8998dd17
Wouldn't let me submit my last exception so I copy/pasted it here.I hope someone can help me with this because I have been running flawless since I installed and when I decide to delete game generated townies, I get this. Thanks in advance for any help that can be given.

It's a problem with the update itself but there is a work around to it. On the main menu click load game and then select one of your old saved games and click recover. Should work!

Thanks for the response. I've done the whole save recovery thing and it works to a default. What I mean is, the game runs fine just as long as you don't delete any of the default or game generated sims and try and place your own sims in their place. Example: Say I wanna move my oldest son or daughter out of the house so he can progress on his own, but due to the game generating townies you have to move him in with a what-ever-it-is-sim and then delete the game generated sim so he can have the household to him/herself. It all goes well until you go to start playing your main house hold, that's when the error 102 is happening. In other words, if I delete ANY default or game generated sim and then go try and play my household, I get the error 102.
I have also seen in other forums that this is an EA bug and they are supposedly working on a patch, but due to my game being a crack version, I will have to wait until, G4TW releases a fix.

This topic can be marked as solved. The update 1.36.104 fixed it as far as I can tell. Created a test save and placed them and then dropped a few custom households and deleted the game created sims and so far so good. Thanks everyone, I can now play how I am used to playing without fear of a corrupt save.

And that patch has been released some time yesterday. I got it via ZL-Origin, one of the ways I run my games. ( three versions Smile )
