My game won't get past the title screen

Hi, I had installed Laundry Day and all the packs before that, the game was working fine but today it wont get past the title screen. I have uninstalled all the packs and even removed my CC but the same thing still happens, I don't really know what else to do. Thank you.

Hello @albasolei and welcome to the Forum,

Go under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ and delete the following:

  localthumbschace.package
  the contents inside folder "cache" (not the actual "cache" folder though!)
  and the contents inside the folder "cachestr" (not the actual "cachestr" folder though!)


If all else fails, then go under Documents\Electronic Arts and change the folder name of The Sims 4 to anything else. After that try the game again. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply @The_gh0stm4n , changing the folder's name is the only thing that worked. Is this something I will have to do again or only once?

Okay so I tried to put the mods and CC again and the same thing happened so I assume that they are the issue. The thing is none of my mods are outdated and all had been working before. What else could it be?
