TS3: Save files cleaner.
Would anyone care to test this? If you do, make sure to create a backup of your saves. You can find the saves under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\saves.

Lady ElDi,
I didn't do extensive testing, but I could see quite some speed improvements when loading my test family. (No Mods, no CC though)

Re: TS3: Save files cleaner.
Would, but I'm actually working on something that has a bit to do with the save games and this is part of it (there's a thread on it on one of the other sims 3 sites, I think sim asylum but I don't remember for sure). I'll post a screenshot of it soon (the GUI is mostly done)
As a side note, removing the SNAP records will only produce an improvement after you've done some stuff in CAS - so typically it only needs to be done once per save game. If you have memories enabled they may be taking quite a bit space in the _IMG records, and unfortunately there's no easy way to remove those.
Here's a couple screenshots. Ignore some of it, because it is a work in progress (ie: the progress bars - they'll move when compressing, right now I just have them showing 50% because I was working on the colors). Also, if you have any suggestions let me know.

Oh that looks great!
Mod edit: Topic moved to "The Sims (3) tips & tricks". This is indeed a useful tool.
